Jim Bob`s Chicken Fingers in Alexander City

Kind of pricy. But food is always great!

One of my absolute favorite places in Alexander City. Try the boneless chicken fingers...they rock!

I placed my order at 5:58. At 6:25 I was asking for a refund. I was waiting for my order. About 6 people ordered after me and got their food. I ask what happened to my order. They lost my ticket. I was not given the option for partial refund. They said we will get it to you soon as possible. I said no thank you just give me my money back.

Always good food. Service fast. Friendly faces.

The atmosphere was lacking, but the food was killer! Hand breaded chicken fingers, and big ones at that, and the wings were probably the best I've ever had. Even the toast was great. Highly recommend

Their chicken is delicious! I had the combo platter, with mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers, fries, cole slaw and Texas toast. It was fantastic!

Was looking forward to some good food after reading the reviews but was very disappointed. The lettuce in my husband's salad had brown edges, but they still brought it to the table. They apologized and gave $ back. Chicken fingers tasted like they were fried in same oil with fish and/or it was old. Same with French fries and onion rings that came out of a sack frozen. Coleslaw had an odd taste, too. Mozzarella sticks were good - just like the ones I can buy and put in my freezer. I am not a hard person to please, but there was nothing we ordered that was good.

Lots of food. Reasonable prices. Friendly and fast service.

Enjoyed eating here. They have several different combos of chicken tenders. They have free refills on your drinks. You order and then go sit down and they'll bring it to your table. Very friendly staff everyone's nice and good food.

I was disappointed in the amount of chicken on the salad I ordered. First impressions are that this place is nothing special.

I ate the chicken fingers and they were really good. This place has good food and the prices are reasonable.

This place resides in what was originally a Pizza Hut prob back in the late 90's. I had a chicken finger plate w/fries & slaw & a piece of buttered toast. Fries and slaw were good. Slaw had a sweet tinge to it. I ordered half my tenders grilled and half fried. The service was swift and exceptional. Upon receiving my food i noticed the tenders were pretty small. About the size of small chicken wings. The grilled ones were pretty good. I didn't personally care for fried ones though. The batter seemed heavy and rich. And on the oily side. The restaurant itself was on the dingy side of things. Most the condiment shakers/bottles at the tables were sticky upon touch. This is very much a Christian family owned and prob operated restaurant. And there's not anything wrong with that as my father was a preacher. But you will be listening to hymnal music and reading scripture and seeing crosses on the walls. It's as if eating in church.

Everytime I come home to visit I have to go to Jim Bob's!

Not a 5 start restaurant but if you want some good chicken or fish then this is a place to go.

You need to make sure the website states the daily specials are for the Auburn location only. I ordered the Jim Bob salad special today (Fri) but when I arrived at the Alex City location they would not offer the special price. If I had known that I would have ordered something cheaper. I like their chicken fingers, chicken salad, hamburgers, and grilled chicken salad. Just disappointed I did not receive the discount

Wednesday night kids special brings us here every week!

Great fried catfish

Tried to call for 40 min from 5 pm till 540 pm to place a order just for them to tell me when i got to the restaurany they had taken the phone off the hook because they were busy, but when i said something they put the phone back on the hook. Horrible way up do business!!!!

1st timers..... Food was outstanding. Owner/ manager was great, polite. There was a tiny mess up with order, we didn't mind the wait.But she made right by it. Thank you, excellent food, service, and people. If we are ever in town again, will definitely stop and say hi and eat.Thank you

The food is always good and the service friendly. Although the establishment is in a converted pizza hut and needs updating, I still enjoy bringing my kids here. They prefer the chicken fingers to other places and I love their catfish.

I have never had a bad experience at this Jim Bob's. The food is always amazing and the staff is always very friendly and patient

We had shrimp and they were delicious. The atmosphere was quiet.

The rating would be better if the building wasn't so nasty smelling and grimmy. It needs to be remodeled.

I’ve been going to this location for 14+ years now, it has become a tradition for me to go with my grandfather. If you are thinking about coming here, please do, the service is great, food is great, very comfortable.

They have friendly service, but the staff filling the to go boxes is very stingy with the fries. I got a double order and it looked like a small size from McDonald's.
